I saw the sign!
That’s stuck in your head now isn’t it? You’re welcome!
Anyways, I’ve seen signs in kitchens lately and really wanted one but refused to pay for it because it seemed easy enough to do it myself. And it was! It just took me a week because I’m extremely lazy.
Here’s my inspiration:
You can find pieces of wood such as this in any craft store. Then I chose...

Two Steps Forward, One Step Back
Our camera has arrived!!
But it didn’t come with a memory card. Now we have to get off our lazy butts today and get one.
When I do, I’ll spam this blog with ALL the things!

The story about fake grass and a Fintorp
I’ve always loved this charging station but never made the purchase. Mostly because we don’t need one but I do love the idea of grass holding up items.
This past weekend we went to Ikea where I got a Fintorp stand and rail. Did I mention how much I love their product titles?
Anyways, it was originally going to be put in the bathroom to hold wash clothes but per usual, I changed...

My Wedding Corner
Like most brides, I needed a hub for my wedding planning. So I put my craft table to use and re-purposed some items I already had.
Pretty unassuming right?
Surprise! The invitations and other paper items are in this nifty chest from Micheal’s ($6.00) and the Wedding Bible, as I call it, is inside the box that used to hide under my bed.
Any and all of my wedding plans goes to this...

Bridesmaid gifts to my sisters
I came across this on Pinterest and thought I could do a version like this for my sisters who are my bridesmaids.
I painted these boxes from Micheal’s then printed my favorite pictures of us as kids and pasted them on with a small ‘scrapbook frame.’
The boxes are filled with things that will be at the wedding and included our Save the Dates.
* Chalkboard
* Clothespins

Dressing up my dresser
This area has always been a hodge podge of extras I have lying around the place. All my leftovers are found here and it drove me nuts! It’s not that I don’t love these items but they just didn’t look right all together.
So here is my updated attempt:
I got some new lamps, shades and knobs from World Market. I moved some items around, and took a picture I had in my kitchen...

The Number 7
A lot gallery walls and book cases these days have numbers and letters on them:
So I decided to make my own. Alex and I have an inside story about the number 7 so naturally I had to do something with it.
I already had the paint and scrap book paper from previous projects and the frame was a gift from family on Christmas.
I painted the frame ‘Jet Stream’ from...

Gallery Wall
I’ve always loved gallery walls. When I lived on my own I had a small collection of me and my family. Now that I’m sharing this life, I’ve added Alex and his family as well. This of course includes pets by the way.
And this is what I came up with about a year ago.
The thing is, there are a lot of blank spots which were in no way intentional. So recently, I looked for ways to...

New Bedding!
We finally bit the bullet and got some new bedding. Alex and I are both happy about it but I believe Rufio is the most excited considering he takes up most of the bed in the first place.
In case you want the look:

Chalkboarding!
Chalkboards are everywhere these days including my soon to be nuptials. Who knew they were so easy to make?!
I took an old frame from storage, some paint I already had on hand and bought chalk board paint at Micheal’s.
I painted the frame white - yes that is a Star Wars paper plate…
Then I painted the cardboard from the frame with the chalkboard paint
Once everything dried...

Scrabble Tiles
I loved this idea that I saw on 320 Sycamore and I knew I had to have it!
So here’s what I did:
I found a frame on sale at Joanne’s, letter tiles and a piece of scrapbook, cork board paper from Micheal’s.
I cut the cork board to size and played around with the tiles until I got them just right. I took out the glass then I glued them directly onto the cork board.
